Retractor Blades & Accessories

The BOOKWALTER™ Retractor System offers the surgeon a wide range of blade configurations and sizes. In addition, virtually any retractor blade can be fixed to a BOOKWALTER ratchet bar to address the surgeon's specific requirements.

Other accessories include storage cases, ratchet mechanisms, fiberoptic light kit, endoscopic instrument holder, table post, post coupling, horizontal bar, horizontal flex bar and vertical extension bar.

Ironman Horizontal Ring Holder

• Provides multi-directional exposure of the abdominal cavity
• Appropriate for surgery requiring unique positioning i.e. Bariatric or other surgeries on obese patients.
• Compatible for use with all CODMAN BOOKWALTER components

Malleable Blades

• Protects underlying tissue from sharp edges

Goose Neck Table Post & Post Holder

These new BOOKWALTER components were developed to answer surgeons’ requests for additional height to better manage the obese population.

Segmented Elliptical Ring

The BOOKWALTER Segmented Ring product line now includes a larger elliptical segmented ring. This segemented ring provides the surgeon with the added exposure sometimes required in bariatric procedures and other operations on morbidly obese patients.
