BOOKWALTER™ ROTILT™ Ratchet Mechanism

The BOOKWALTER™ ROTILT™ Ratchet Mechanism provides lockable rotation of the tilt ratchet with seven indexed positions along an arc of 60 degrees.

New intellectual properties permit a closer duplication of the original function of a toed-in hand held retractor. Adds an additional degree of freedom is achieved, which is critical in retracting deep tissue. Precise blade placement is permiitted while retaining the ability to quickly reposition the blades when necessary.
