The CODMAN® 3000 Infusion Pump
is a cost-effective therapy for those patients that
fail conventional medical treatment. This elegantly
simple device features an inexhaustible power supply,
and does not require frequent replacements associated
with battery powered pumps. The slow, continuous
drug delivery of the constant flow pump into the
intraspinal space eliminates the peaks and valleys
often experienced with traditional drug therapy.

The FLEXTIP® Plus intraspinal
catheter offers you the best of both worlds:
a soft outer surface with a wire-reinforced
body. The coil-reinforced catheter body is
engineered to deliver the firmness needed
for insertion while providing resistance to
kinking or collapsing, thus maintaining patency.
The inner titanium coil wire also provides
excellent radiopacity. This is helpful for
confirming catheter position long after initial
placement.
The intraspinal catheter and implantable pump
catheter are joined by a new specially-designed
connector. Made of titanium, it connects quickly
and easily and replaces the traditional barbed
connector. The result is a simple to accomplish,
secure connection between the pump catheter
and the intraspinal catheter. Smaller catheter,
smaller needle The FLEXTIP® Plus intraspinal
catheter requires a 17 Ga. needle for insertion.
Smaller than the 14 Ga. needle traditionally
used with these procedures, the reduced size
means easier needle insertion and a smaller
hole in the dura.
The intraspinal catheter system is attached
to the CODMAN® 3000 Constant Flow Implantable
Infusion Pump, the only pump on the market
with a Bolus Safety Valve. The valve is designed
to minimize the risk of inadvertent bolus
of drug. The pump's compact size, titanium
casing, and smooth, circular contour make
it a comfortable fit for long-term implantation.

Epidural catheter placement
can be challenging. The AGILECATH addresses
problems inherent to catheter placement-column-strength
and steerability-to make catheter placement
easier and more precise.
A smooth, durable, polymer
exterior and spiral-wound stainless steel
helix provide high compression strength
to resist collapsing and promote positive
patency over extended use.
Improved column-strength
stylet allows easier navigation through
the epidural space.
An epidural introducer helps
make insertion smoother and reduces the
potential for catheter shearing.
A stainless steel helical
wire identical to the distal soft-tip spring-wire
guide allows solutions injected through
the internal lumen to be easily dispersed
through the expanded windings at the uncovered
distal tip.
Greatly enhanced catheter
radiopacity.
A simple-to-use snaplock
catheter/syringe adapter can be secured
positively to the catheter without collapse
of the lumen.
